Back to Washington

So yesterday was interesting.  First I got up and got my bike all set to leave and Scott did the same, we went to take off and I could not find my key to Red Velvet.  I looked everywhere...tore my gear apart  and still could not find it. Checked the room we stayed in and the front desk.  No keys. So luckily, I had a spare key. We took off but it still bugged me I could not find it.  We motored on heading to Olympic, Washington to meet up with Tom Householder and his son Duane.

Here is a good selfie picture with the best wingman ever Scott riding in perfect formation.  We were going 70+ mph when I took it.  Nice!

We passed a lot of lumber and hay being hauled on trucks.
This guy joined our formation of a while. He was on a Suzuki 850 with cool old school Vetter bags and windshield. That was top notch stuff back in the day.
Some logging operation on the river, I think the Columbian.  They still move lumber on the rivers, floating them.
I liked this camper....a Minnie Winnie...great name...

Passed this boat...nice boats on the roads too.  Most are in the water.
This VW was towing and old Fiat, I think.  Those dang VW old and new are all over the west coast.
That there is Tom Householder, my dad's great friend looking over Scott's bike.
This is a cool picture with many things going for it.  That is Duane Householder (who I have not seen in 30+ years and his dad Tom.  Also in the picture is Tom's sweet Ford Mustang and his camper he pulls behind his car.  Really cool compact, lite trailer.  Great people, the Householders!  I met Duane's wife Kathy and his daughter, Rachel. We had a great time talking about, the old times...it was really nice!
Before we left, I notice I had left Red Velvet on and.....her battery was drained....dang it. Duane helped me jump start Red Velvet using Rachel's sweet all black Jeep. I definitely had Jeep envy at Duane's house...I think they have three nice Jeeps.  Here is Red Velvet idling and charging up the battery.
So Scott and I left Duane and Kathy's house and headed to Auburn, which is where Scott's brother and sister-in-law, Denie live. It felt like a long one hour ride, but we first stopped at Scott's addition... Taco Time!
Nice sky, so I took another and caught a jet flying through...cool!
