Goodbye California, hello Oregon!

This morning we got up from our cabin at the KOA (which was really nice) and had breakfast at the Mt. Shasta Black Bear Diner.
A few shots of the room I stayed in.

As we headed out of Mt. Shasta, the next place we arrived was Weed, CA.  You can imagine what Weed was like and you would mostly be right.
The road ahead.
A few shots of the mountain as we rode on...

This selfie was taken going about 60 mph.  I would have taken it while going faster but I was stuck behind Scott!  :)
We pressed onward with our next stop being Crater Lake.

That there folks is my shot of a small Bigfoot.
If you squint and look real close, Bigfoot is marking a tree, curious species, huh?
Here I am at Crater Lake, awesome place!  It was created by a volcano that exploded.  The water is pristine and almost 2000 ft deep.  It is so blue because it is only fed by rain and snow.  We were at about 7000 ft above sea level. The ride to it was spectacular!
The lake was pristine until Scott decided he had to take a leak.
We parked our bikes with the other cool people

Yes there was still snow where we were.

We busted out of Crater Lake and have now bedded down in Eugene, OR. We will see what tomorrow brings, good day!
